He was predeceased by: his father James Lee Hobart; and his stepfather David Schroeder. He is survived by: his daughter Lauren Hobart of Overland Park; his mother Judy Schroeder of Topeka; and his siblings, Carolyn Sandmeyer of Topeka and Paula Lowe (Todd) of Oskaloosa.
