He is survived by: his mother Darcella Massy Goodman; and his children, Avery James Goodman-Byrd, James Benjamin Goodman-Byrd Jr. of Denton, TX, Josiah Goodman of Topeka, KS, Amiyah Goodman and K'Liah Goodman of Topeka, KS.. He is also survived by aunts, cousins other family members and friends.
