He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggy M. Fitts Hysten and L. Hysten; his daughter Romelle Kar Hysten; his brothers, Jerry and Jonathan; his uncles, William, Leonard and Lloyd; and his aunt Evelyn Fisher.
He is survived by: his son Cyrus Karl Hysten of Topeka, KS; his sister Julia M Pipkin (Raymond); and his aunt Mary Lou Sheppard. He is also survived by family members and friends.
