It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ila Jean Fisher of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Smiley and Lois Pence Smiley; her husband Robert Fisher; her daughters, Katherine Cruse (Mike) and Vicky Shimp; her brother Ronald Smiley; and her son-in-law John Shimp. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church or to Saving Death Row Dogs, and sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish, Topeka KS 66614.
