He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret H. Wanke (Ketelsen) and Christian H. Wanke; his wife Martha S. Wehner; and his grandson Thad Millard. He is survived by: his children, Hilde Wagner of Williamsburg, VA, Chearie Donaldson (Dan), George Wanke (Tess Banion) of Alexandria, VA, Erika Tipton of Topeka, KS and John Wanke (Sara) of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Todd Wagner, Kevin Wagner (Lauren), Paige Herman (Todd), Schaan Donaldson (Jen), Heather Scherer (Lee), Hilary Banion Wanke (Josh Campbell), Colin Wanke (Lindsey), Lisa Tipton, Karen Tipton, Briana Moeller (Ryan), Jenaye Madigan (Paul), Daniel Wanke, Karalyn Killgore (Caleb), Audrey Millard and Davis Millard; his great grandchildren, Gresham Wagner, Christian Wagner, Luke McCarvel (Sammie), Bruklyn Donaldson, Jaq Donaldson, Kyra Scherer, Melina Scherer, Flynn Campbell, Agrippa Campbell, Darwin Campbell, Isla Wanke, Ophelia Wanke, Zachary Nitcher, Bryson Moeller, Adelyn Moeller, Thomas Madigan and Eliana Madigan; and his great great grandchild Aurora McCarvel. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
