Helen M. Eakes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2022, at the age of 94, Helen M. Eakes (Topeka, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Hartman and Amelia Fritton Hartman; her children, Mary Bowler (Larry), Robert Eakes (Diane), Victoria Amis (Mike), Christine Emery (Ron), Steven Eakes (Val), Carla Compton, Brenda Guyle (Dan) and Lisa Rochford (Bob); her husband Robert G. Eakes; her son Michael Eakes; and her son-in-law Mike Compton. She was also cherished by 21 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Topeka Rescue Mission.
