It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen M. Briggs of Topeka, Kansas, born in Olpe, Kansas, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. Diebolt and Mary J. Diebolt (Wendling); her husband John D. Briggs; her son David; and her brothers, George and Jerome Diebolt.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Briggs, Judith Briggs and Mary Smith; her sister Dorothy Didde; and her grandchildren, Wes Smith and Allison Forese.
Memorials have been established with Saint Joseph Catholic Church (Olpe), the American Cancer Society, or Midland Hospice Care (Topeka) with contributions sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, PO Box #175, Emporia, Kansas 66801.
