He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo Michaelis and Esther Glotzbach Michaelis; his wife Gertrude Krogman; his brother James of Topeka; his children, Diane Ralston (Gene), Dick Michaelis (Karla), Pam Denton (Ed) and Darlene; and his brother Alvin. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hayden Catholic High School, sent in care of the funeral home.
