She was predeceased by: her grandmother Topeka; her parents, Floyd Russell and Myrtle Anna Haxton (Bates); her husband Otto Emiel Dienstbier; her granddaughter Angela Sue Fairchild; her stepgranddaughter Rachel Carpenter; and her siblings, Dean Haxton and Viola Marteney.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Dienstbier (Melissa) of Andover, KS, Ruth Ann Beach of Spokane Valley, WA, Jane Marie Stout (David) of Fountain Inn, S. C. and Carolyn Sue Shankland (Kevin) of Valley Falls, KS. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (4211 NW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS 66617). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Sabetha City Cemetery.
