She was predeceased by: her siblings, Eddie, John Peterman and Niminricter; her husband Frank Jester; her daughter Holly Merritt; and her parents, George Peterman and Caroline Peterman.

She is survived by: her sister Ginger Sparrow (Bobby); her daughter Carol Holley (Merritt); her grandson Tyler (Dorian); her great grandchild Dawson; her grandchildren, Travis and Mary (Tobey); her great grandchildren, Tanya and Cory; her granddaughter Renee; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Cody and MacKinzee; her grandchild Raina; her great grandchild LaVance, Jr.; and her granddaughter Gladys.
