We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2022, at the age of 73, Gerald Counter of Topeka, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Counter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Counter and Billie Yarber Counter; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Walters Merryman; his children, Kate Counter of Centennial and Ben Counter (Maggie Heatherman) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; his siblings, Deborah Ferrell (David) of Mayetta and Randy Counter (Sally) of Shawnee; and his stepsons, John Merryman (Amanda) of Topeka and Jeff Merryman of Topeka. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
