He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Stauffer and Twila Stauffer; and his stepmother Verna Lea Stauffer. He is survived by: his spouse JoAnn Holshouser of Dwight, KS; his children, John Stauffer (Kim) of Olathe, KS, Brad Stauffer (Judy) of Lincoln, NE and Tina Murray (Brian) of Leawood, KS; his grandchildren, Christopher Stauffer of Lafayette, CO, Michael Stauffer and Prairie; his brother Darrel Stauffer (Kay) of Champaign, IL; and his stepbrother Kenneth McDonald (Ann) of Orange, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Nature Conservancy, Heifer International or the Ahearn Fund at Kansas State University.
