We bid farewell to Gary Dalton Lloyd (Topeka, Kansas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Gary Dalton touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Eugene and Geraldine Mae Lloyd (Speck); his wife Bernadine Miller; his brothers, Richard and Lawrence; his son-in-law Patrick Rooney; his aunt Virginia; and his uncle Jim Marshall.
He is survived by: his close friend Jill Patterson; his children, Brent Lloyd (Dayna) and Brenna Lloyd Rooney; his grandsons, Matt Lloyd (Kandice) of Norman, OK and Dalton Rooney (Adrianna); his stepgrandchildren, Hunter, Colton and Braylan Heineken; and his great grandchildren, Tristan Hallahan and Brantley Rooney.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker-Price & Davidson Funeral Home (245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Round Mound Cemetery (2718 Osborne Rd, Cummings, KS 66016).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Round Mound Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund in care of Parker-Price and Davidson Funeral Home.
