It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Bothwell (Topeka, Kansas), born in Marysville, Kansas, who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Bothwell and Gladys Mitchell Bothwell; his wife Beverly Bothwell; his children, Bob Simpson (Sandy), Greg Bothwell (Karen) and Tammy Dishman (Jeff); his grandsons, Gray Bothwell (Kristin) and Caleb Dishman (Linda); his great grandchildren, Liam Bothwell and Jace Dishman; his sister-in-law Helen Fielder; his son John Simpson; and his sisters, Genevieve Fincham and Bonnie Mayhew. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date and announced at that time.
