She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Willie Sconiers and Nellie Sconiers; her former spouse Sydney Pope; her child Sydney Paul; her spouse Elsbery "E. L."; her children, Paul Pope and Valerie Black (Phillip) of Gig Harbor, Washington; her grandchildren, Tanika Seals of Stockbridge and Marina Martin of Atlanta, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Antwan, Anthony and Andryanna; and her nephew Wallace Knight of East Orange. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and friends.
Fredia retired from the Menninger Foundation and still full of energy, she started working for H&R Block during tax season.
