Felipe Ortiz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Felipe Ortiz (Topeka, Kansas), who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Felipe Ortiz to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Domingo Ortiz and Joaquina Ortiz; his brothers, Larry, Victor, Johnny, Cato and Genaro "Hank" Ortiz; his nephew Paul Juarez; and his sister Marcella Ortiz Juarez.
He is survived by: his sister Rachelle Vega-Retana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family.
Social distancing will still be practiced under the COVID-19 restrictions. Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home at 5:30 p. m. A public memorial mass will follow on a later date once the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
