He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro L. Blancas and Amalia Rodriguez Blancas; his wife Hilda Rodriguez; and his siblings, Reyes Blancas, Domitila Sanchez, Delphina Ruiz and Margarita Blancas.
He is survived by: his former wife Mercedes Vega; his children, David M. Blancas, Esteban "Steve" Blancas Jr., Adela "Della" M. McCoy and Amelia "Molly" O'Conner; his stepdaughter Virginia Ochoategui; his siblings, Ramon Blancas, Roger Blancas, Jovita Smith and Dolores Rivera; his grandchildren, Shaun P. McCoy, Angela M. Schuh, Jason M. Blancas, Kari N. Blancas and Erika R. Blancas; his great grandchildren, Mikhayla Murray, Summer Rolin, Jacqueline McCoy, Alexandria McCoy, Zachary Schuh, Jayden Wager and Sydney Schuh; and his niece Connie Stroud.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private family graveside service will take place.
