He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Phillips and Mary Lee Phillips (Joyner); his wife Evelyn; his daughters, Sharon Lillo (Eugene) of Topeka, Susan Carames of Barnhart, MO and Shirley Dyess (Wendell) of Andalusia, AL; his brothers, Russell Phillips of Moline, IL and Michael Phillips of Jupiter, FL; his grandson Joshua; and his son-in-law Joe. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
