Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dorothy Smith (Topeka, Kansas), born in Sabetha, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 90, on February 6, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Spiker and Mary Grace Chase Spiker; her husband Jim Smith; and her siblings, Bob Spiker, Loretta Rice and Bill Spiker.

She is survived by: her sons, Don (Becky) and Dennis (Coleen). She is also survived by three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Homestead of Eudora, Town and Country Christian Church, or Good Shepherd Hospice, and sent in care of the funeral home.
