She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Adams and Lillian Smith Adams; her husband Hobert B. Wheeler; her son Edwin Eugene Wheeler; and her siblings, Alfred Adams, Amanda Clariday and Juanita Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Jay A. Wheeler (Denise) of Topeka, Aaron D. Wheeler of Topeka, Alice E. Woody (Matthew), Wanda C. Emerson, Janet D. Wheeler and Conyers of Georgia; and her siblings, David Adams (Helen) of Topeka, Foster Chisholm of Topeka, Karlene Williams of Topeka and Lanafaye Barber of Topeka. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
