He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Edward and Emily Mabel High (Tharp); and his siblings, Jessie, Geri and Vernon.

He is survived by: his wife Annie M. High; his sons, Daniel High and Timothy High (Lynda); his grandchildren, Valla, Sam, Elvira and Doran; and his siblings, Katie, Nita, Charles, Bertha and Earlene.
