Donald Hoback Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Donald Hoback of Topeka, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hoback (Lea) and William Hoback; his wife Thelma Hoback; and his siblings, LaVon Nolan and Robert Hoback.
He is survived by: his children, Shelley Will (Kirk) and Donald Hoback (Denise); and his grandchildren, Candis Mayfield (Doral), Heather Austin (Kyle) and Matthew Hoback (Ashley). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Denison Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Don's honor to the Disabled American Veterans Project or the Wounded Warriors Project.
