He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Lydia; and his siblings, Marvin Masenthin and Dorothy Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Janet; and his children, Walter James Masenthin (Karin) of Lenexa, Donnie Leroy Masenthin, II (Tricia) of Lawrence, Ernest Masenthin Jolly (Jennifer) of Topeka, Annie Sue Peters (Bart) of Colorado and Johanna Jean Odell (Nick) of Colorado. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
