He is survived by: his wife Joyce Karst-Duryea of Topeka, KS; his children, Josh Duryea (Chi) of Houston, TX and Stacy Monier (Dustin) of Seneca, KS; his stepdaughters, Jessica Harrison (John) of Bothell, WA and Sheila Heiman (Adam) of Topeka, KS; his grandchildren, Kinsey Monier, Emilia Monier, Lawson Monier, Kayla Harrison, Tyler Harrison, Blake Heiman and Bryce Heiman; and his siblings, Marilyn Koch (Eldon) of St. Joseph, MO, Ronald Duryea (Sharon) of Topeka, KS, Donald Duryea (Beth) of Solomon, KS, Debra Meyer (Gary) of Sabetha, KS, Greg Duryea (Lesa) of Morrill, KS, Merle Duryea (Rose Mary) of Seneca, KS and Kay Lynne Gabb (Marvin) of Spring Hill, KS..

“We are saddened by the passing of Dennis. He was always a wonderful friend and a person we could always count on. Dennis was an amazing man with a sharp memory. He had an encyclopedia of knowledge and jokes. Dennis will always be in our heart and minds as we think of some of his jokes, as we look at places we visited before with him and manymore memories with Dennis. Donald Ducks voice was his favorite imitation. He also spoke, so fondly of all of his grandchildren. He will be terribly missed.”
