She was predeceased by: her son Shane A. Meier; and her sister Deleva. She is survived by: her husband Gene Meier; her children, Michael E. Meier of Topeka and Gina Meier-Hummel (Mark) of Lawrence; and her daughter-in-law Sandy Meier of Topeka. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Deloris's honor to Midland Care Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home.
