He was predeceased by: his parents, David A. Nelson, Sr. and Lucile A. Hummer Nelson. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Brian Nelson (Maggie) of Maple Hill and Jonathan David Nelson (Lady Diane Warshalosky); his siblings, Linda Nelson of Maple Hill, Vernon Nelson (Toni) of Topeka and Francis Nelson (Sharon) of Topeka; his grandchildren, Edmund, Felicity, Eugene, Peter and Daniel; and his stepgrandsons, Santiago and Sebastian.
