He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Luke and Kathleen C. Maas (Basten); his son Mark R. Maas; his granddaughter Emma Maas; and his sisters, Nadine Kieffer, Joan Hoffman and Mary Lou Vaughan.
He is survived by: his wife Karen (Church); and his children, Michele Rayborn (Larry) and Michael Maas (Cadie).
