Dale B. Liby Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2024, at the age of 88, Dale B. Liby of Topeka, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dale may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Liby and Marjorie Liby (Bull); and his granddaughter Jennifer Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Marian E. Taylor; his children, David Liby (Dawn) and Marcia Hogan (Frank); and his brother Gary Liby (Betty). He is also survived by many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Western Hills Church (2900 SW Auburn Rd, Topeka, KS 66614). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (3616 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66606).
