He was predeceased by: his mother Ardith Elaine Bolton (Bolton). He is survived by: his father John Arthur Wenke, Jr. (Linda Smith) of Topeka, Kansas; his son Pat Wenke (Sara); his grandsons, Cooper and John of Lawrence, Kansas; his daughter Jamie Wenke (Tim Bartlett); his granddaughters, Lucy and Frances of Nashville, Tennessee; his great grandchild Rachelle Jones; his sister Carolyn Spritzer of Topeka; his nephew David Spritzer (Leesa); his great-nephew Sean of Sayreville; his sister Robin Smith (Mark); his nephews, Matthew and Andrew of Odenton, Maryland.; and also, Isaac and Spencer of Topeka, Kansas.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home (2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka, KS 66614). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or Hayden Catholic High School, in care of the funeral home.
