She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Ramirez and Maria Ramirez (Servin); her husband Max Mendoza, Sr.; and her siblings, Tom Ramirez, Joe Ramirez, Fred Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez, Carmen Ornelas and Lupe Godinez.

She is survived by: her children, Max Mendoza, Jr. (Stephanie), Mark Mendoza and Regina Mendoza; her grandchildren, Shawna Herwick (Caleb), Melodi Wheeler, Gabrielle Mendoza and Andrew "AJ" Vargas; her great grandchild Alaiya Vargas; and her siblings, Jessie Ramirez, Jr. (Martha), Mike Ramirez (Anita), Richard Ramirez (Pam), Gilbert Ramirez, Clara Bucia and Carol Laughead (Ted).

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (201 NE Chandler St, Topeka, KS 66616). A rosary was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
