He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin C. and Elna V. Olson Carlson; his siblings, Judy Leonhart and Roy Carlson; and also Ruth Gay.
He is survived by: his spouse Loretta M. Greene of Brooklyn, NY; his sons, Richard Carlson (Pam) of Berryton and Thomas Carlson (Shelly); his grandsons, Clint Carlson, Lawrence Carlson and Eric Carlson (Malia); his great grandchild Dane of Lawrence; and his granddaughters, Jaime Wigginton (Alex) of Shawnee, KS, Sarah Carlson and Whitefish.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals On Wheels and Midland Care Hospice, both of Topeka, sent of care of the funeral home.
