He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Herbert and Ruby Viola Stone (Tucker); and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Blankenship, John Willems, Robert Trammell and Vernon Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Stone of Topeka; his children, Chet Stone (Joshanna) of Topeka and Shana Kemnitz (Jason) of Shawnee; his grandchildren, Kasha Kemnitz and Kali Kemnitz; and his sisters, Thelma Mitchell and Gladys Trammell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
