With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine (Cathy) Cervantez (Topeka, Kansas), who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Cervantez and Amelia "Molly" Cervantez (Valdivia); her siblings, Mary A Luna, Carol Cervantez, Christopher Cervantez (Janelle), Richard P. Cervantez (Cynthia) and Paul A. Cervantez (Margie) of Topeka; and her nieces and nephews, Kevin, Christine, Anthony of Valerie, AJ, Blake, Collin, Matalyn, Andrea, Brian, Matthew, Aaron, Victoria, Jessica and Glen Jr.. She was also cherished by 22 Great- Nieces and Great- Nephews.
The lying in state will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at 6:00 PM at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home (800 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66603). A Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadlupe Catholic Church.
