With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Ann Essman of Topeka, Kansas, born in Clifton, Kansas, who passed away on March 23, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Short and Ruby Short; her siblings, George Short and Virginia Robinson; and her grandsons, Jerry Walden, Jr., Johnny and K. U..
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Essman; and her children, Tim Anderson (Lisa) of Auburn, Tom Anderson (Roxanne) of Pawnee Rock, KS, Connie Rae Walden (Jerry) of Topeka and Penny Hamilton (Ron) of Council Grove, KS. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission and left in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
