He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lindersmith and Audie Lindersmith (Stubllefield); his wife Sarah Sue Maggard; and his siblings, Eugene "Jack", Ralph, Floyd "Podge" Lindersmith, Doris Jones, Dorothy Hundley and Ruth "Pat" Brotherton.

He is survived by: his children, Billy J. Lindersmith, Jr. of Nowata, Jimmie D. Lindersmith (Lynn) of Blue Springs and Julie Lindersmith-Evans of Nowata; and his sisters, Sondra Kaye Holland of Collinsville and Jean Seely of Grove, Oklahoma. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
