In the sacred silence of farewell, Beverly Sue is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Beverly Sue's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Lloyd Smith; her husband Leon Parker; and her mother Vernell Rodden (Dyer). She was also cherished by three children, ten grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel (1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Midtown Chapel (1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (3616 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66606).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Beverly's memory can be made to the New Hope Food Pantry, which she not only helped create but also to which she devoted innumerable hours a s a member of the Board of Directors, 7727 NW Nickell Road, Topeka, KS 66618 in c/o Sandi Cox.
