He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Day (Giger) and L. C. Day; and his brother Bruce Day (Joleen). He is survived by: his wife Maria A. Beun; his son James (Annie Flachsbarth); his grandchildren, Emry, Delaney, Blake, Molly and Emma Flachsbarth; and his brother Don Day (Carole). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
