With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Schulte-Brown of Topeka, Kansas, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on February 13, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Evans and Ila Ameila Tanner (Erickson); her former husband Virgil Schulte; her husband John Brown; her son Danny; and her siblings, Marlene, Robert, Larry and Rolland.

She is survived by: her children, Pam Stockton (Bill) of Dothan, Alabama, David Schulte (Cheryl) of LaCrescent, MN and Lori Bergo (Jim) of Joice, IA; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Buchen (David), Greg Schulte (Becky), Kristy Lipscomb (Robert), Daniel Schulte (Kelly), Amanda Huey (Ryan), Morgan Crawford (Blake), Adam and Isaac Bergo. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
