She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Miller and Emma Shalz Miller; her former husband Charles Uhlrig; her husband John McCarvel; her son Joseph Uhlrig; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Uhlrig; and her great grandchild Owen Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Uhlrig (Susie), Gregg (Sheilla) and Patti Wilmes (Mike); her grandchildren, Amy, Kristen, Brandon, Benjamin, Anika, Andrew, Tyler, Michelle and Joseph; her siblings, Nick Miller, Agnes Wertin, Wilber Miller, Patty Dawson and Linda Schneider; and her friend Doug Pomeroy. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Most Pure Heart of Mary Church for Ministry of Care or St. Stanislaus Church for Homebound Ministry and sent in care of the funeral home.
