She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Unrein and Mary Eve Unrein; her spouse Frank Pfeifer; her grandson Jared Pfeifer; and her siblings, Wendelin, George, Lawrence Unrein and Barbara Lechman.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Pfeifer (Bobbie Byrd), Carolyn Pfeifer, Erlene Pfeifer-Gifford, Eugene Pfeifer, Theresa Sanders (Jim), Ray Pfeifer (Ginny Klasinski) and Dennis Pfeifer (Denise Aldridge).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Christ the King Catholic Church or the Good Samaritan Fund at Aldersgate Village sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
