She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin L. Briggs and Elma I. Briggs (Wells); her husband Maurice Hayden Peters; and her brother Charles Briggs. She is survived by: her daughter Joan E. Harvey (Russell) of Hoyt, Kansas; her sister Norma Jean Harper of Topeka, Kansas; her grandchildren, Jeremy R. Harvey (Shelley) of Topeka and Amber D. Kirmse (Alan) of Topeka, Kansas; and her great grandchildren, Indi, Oliver, Kaya and Claire. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
