We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2025, at the age of 28, Antwan Duane Barksdale Jr. (Topeka, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Colwin Henderson III. He is survived by: his parents, Ariane Davis (Wichita) and Tony Barksdale, Sr. (Falana); his siblings, Jovan Barksdale (Topeka), Amari Barksdale (Wichita), Jacqez Barksdale of Buffalo, NY, Marquis Barksdale of Kansas City, MO, Jaymin Barksdale (Topeka), Isabell Davis (Wichita), Zayis Barksdale (Topeka), Ramona Davis (Wichita), King Sutton (Topeka) and Harvey Davis, Jr. (Topeka); his grandparents, Cornell Sowell (Topeka), Craig Hylton of Las Vegas, NV, Marvene Barksdale (Topeka), Carl Wright Sr. (Wichita) and Isabell Wright (Wichita); his nephew Beckham Barksdale (Topeka); and his niece Rosalia Henderson (Topeka). He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church (610 SE Lime St, Topeka, KS 66607). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, they kindly request contributions toward funeral expenses to honor his life.
