Hopkins; her sons, Harrison, Larry, Hal, Johnnie B. Hopkins, William Shepherd and Richard Pippin; her siblings, Canary Sherrod, Henrietta Payton (John Payton), Odessa (Willie Cotton) and Melvin (Bennie Will Shepherd); and her children, Lash Hopkins (Mary) of Madison, WI., Ronald, Jacqueline, Gregory Shepherd, Diane Collins and Janice Pippin. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
