The memory of Annie Kate Hopkins- Davis (Topeka, Kansas), who passed away on September 4, 2024 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Gayle Shepherd and Elma Shepherd; and her grandmother Dinah. She is survived by: her significant other Jim B. Hopkins; her sons, Harrison, Larry, Hal, Johnnie B. Hopkins, William Shepherd and Richard Pippin; her siblings, Canary Sherrod, Henrietta Payton (John Payton), Odessa (Willie Cotton) and Melvin (Bennie Will Shepherd); and her children, Lash Hopkins (Mary) of Madison, WI., Ronald, Jacqueline, Gregory Shepherd, Diane Collins and Janice Pippin. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Victory Fellowship (232 SW Sanneman Dr, Topeka, KS 66609). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (4700 SW 17th St, Topeka, KS 66604).
