He was predeceased by: his parents, C. W. Gentry and Ruby Gentry; and his siblings, Merle Faye, Gwendolyn Lois, Curtis, Leslie and Lonnie.
He is survived by: his son Raymond Fitzgerald (Janice); his wife Pamela Ford; his daughter Andrea Broadnax (TC); his grandchildren, Raymond Trey Gentry, Alyssa Gentry, Nia Woodard, Ethan Gentry, Brandi Broadnax and Elijah Broadnax; his siblings, Jesse Gentry, Dwight Gentry (Terri), Ruby Lontena Gentry, Diane Moore (Richard) and Dwana Spurlock (Larry); and his sister-in-law Helen Gentry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
