She was predeceased by: her husband Merwyn V. Purdy of Paul's Lutheran Church; her parents, Hugh M. Sechler and Mary Viola Sechler; her siblings, Mary Duerfeldt, Perry and Donald; and her nephew Glen Duerfeldt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dolores Purdy Corcoran of La Mesilla and Mary Purdy Gmuender (Josef) of Gardnerville. She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
