She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Faye Smith; her sister Rita Sovanski of Puyallup, WA; her stepson Buddy Vaughn; and her grandson Jared Pfeifer.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick W. Vaughn of Topeka, Randy Byrd (Cherie) of Topeka, Billie Rose (Mike) of Topeka and Sandy Foster (Bill) of Hebron, Indiana; and her brother Clarence Smith of San Marcose, TX.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
