He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Grieve and Thelma L Russell Grieve; and his sister Barbara Tindell. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Dean (Jane) and Brad Alexander (Pam) of Auburn, Kansas; his wife Marge of Topeka; his grandchildren, Kyle Grieves (Megan) of Kathleen, Ryan Grieves (Kelli) of Manhattan, Kimberly Grieves (Shaun McLean) of Frisco, Cole Grieves (Alex) of Manhattan and Rachel Grieves of Topeka, Kansas; and his great grandchildren, Eli, Joel, Leo, Luke and Laine Grieves.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Prince of Peace Preschool, sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614.
