She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter McCaslin and Betty McCaslin (Peyton); her husband James E. McWhirt; her daughter Ruth E. Beltron; and her siblings, Jimmy, Durell, Jean McCaslin, Adelee Baars, Jenny Marie Cockrell and Betty Jo Hinkel.
She is survived by: her children, Robert E. McWhirt (Janet) of Basehor, Larry R. McWhirt (Charlotte) of Gas City, IN and Karin A. Juarez (Reuben) of Topeka. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two stepchildren; ten step-grandchildren; many step-great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
