He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Owens and Lillian Owens (Bailey); and his brothers, Michael Owens and Jim Owens. He is survived by: his son Scott Owens (Heather Smith); his siblings, Robert Owens Jr. of Leavenworth, KS, David Owens of Easton, KS, Ruth Bucher of Leavenworth, KS and Linda Griffith of Basehor, KS; his grandchildren, Mallory Ratliff (Austin), Jake Owens, Devan Smith (Shelby Singleton) and Josh Owens; and his great grandchildren, Benson Owens, Kal Ratliff and Ava Owens.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in his name to the Tonganoxie VFW Post #9271.
