She was predeceased by: her parents, Lincoln Ammons and Pearl Ammons (Cowell); her husband Murriel Young; and her siblings, Audie, L. C. Ammons, Ineva Ludwig and Mary Jo Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Don Young (Conny) and Kathleen Young; and her sisters, Marianna Willis of Olathe, KS and Sandra Phillips of Jasper, AR. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Basehor, KS.
